The educational policy

The ancient education system was one of the best model  known as gurukul model. Students had to leave their homes and go to the teacher's place called gurukul. The top points of a imaginary schooling system which I have imagined and believe that will lead to the best system are  -. 

1) The importance of values and moral - the gurukul system of education gave importance to values and morals , not only for grades sake but also for the development of students , in today's system some teachers do give importance to these factors but many can't . They have the run to complete the syllabus. Students should be taught the difference between the right and the wrong and why is the right thing right. Like why cheating in an exam is a wrong thing , if at an early age students get to know the difference between right and wrong and the reason to practice the right , they will become a good citizen of country.  As the thinking of the country is the thinking of the people living in it and the thinking of a people is determined by the things learn by them in their childhoods. In today's system  teacher do share the right and the wrong but not at an early age , or by proper reasons , or the child is affected by it's bg . So background also plays an important role in development here comes my next point - isolation of children from their background at an early age

2) Isolation through  hostel -  The environmental factors plays a crucial role in  the overall develop  of a child. So it is necessary to develop a good environment for the development of students . Exactly the same is done by isolation from parents and hostel life . Also the hostel will maintain a very discipline environment as the students will be given adequate value education as mentioned in the first point . No negative or misleading thoughts will occupy space in the student's mind . This will also enrich 'All are equal ' value in student as no one will get any special privilege . The hostel will be a world in itself for students . However  they will get holidays to spend with the family.  

3) An overall development timetable - In most hostel schools timetable system is followed . Same will be done here but the interior will be very different. Day of students will start with yoga and exercise.

 

 i) Yoga and exercise - the importance of yoga and exercise in our health is very high . Students will be learn in Yoga posters and exercises by their respective teachers. 

 

ii) cooking and breakfast - healthy diet will be designed for certain age groups of student also there will be leased for the student on weekends. Some higher grade students of a particular class will learn to make some basic dishes which are  common in daily life , also which will be given to them in the .Canteen will be their classroom to learn such thing.   Some basic dishes will be compulsory to be learnt by all students. But if a student wants to learn further , special practice sessions will be arranged for them.  So that he/she can learn cooking as his/ her hobby . Also when students will learn to make some basic dishes they will make their own breakfast , as per their wish . But every student has to make the basic dish once in front of the teacher as cooking is is very important skill to be learnt.

iii)The School lessons -  Now the school lessons will be scheduled for the students.

Various subjects like maths , physics, Chemistry , biology , language , arts, sports , history , geography, philosophy , Other new subjects (described later ) will be taught in a very friendly and creative manner. Students will attend their subject classes in the respective labs , like physics in physics lab , where students will be shown live expirements from a very early . There will be nothing like boring classroom lecture . Also students will be given to perform the same practical in their exam and calculate the value based on the obtained readings. This exam will be given 70% weightage and 30% will be theory and other questions . This system will boost the practical knowledge . For languages , the practicals will take a form of dramas, speech , debates etc in the subject language. 30% here will be given to theoritical  grammar . 

iv) Sports- students will enjoy all major types of sports , also they will be taught the correct technique . Students will be able to represent their school in sports and the students which will go to good level will get an opportunity to make it a career . 

v) Non academic development  - Students will have a fixed , ideal time table which will include all activities like studying, sports , yoga, hobbies, necessary lectures for overall development like basic cooking , financial planning,  moral education , ideal behavior , different ideologies from religious to scientific and from capitalism to socialism (they will be free to decide to support any on their knowledge and opinion) , first aiding , and other things like mental health issues like pressure , anger , depression , anxiety , also a special subject called knowing our nation will be added to make students aware of the history of India , it's achievements , it's strength , weakness as a nation, solutions to the strengthen the weakness,  all will be discussed  so as to develop a feeling of nationalism , etc . 

vi) Military and emergency Training - this is an important aspect to be covered . Students will be given 1 year of complusary military training . Only physically disabled can skip. Military training makes one physical and mentally strong and brings discipline . This training will have it's own period  reserved for it at a particular age . Also Students will be taught to deal with emergency situations like terrorist attack , hijack situation , survival skills etc..

4) All in One institute - Students  will have all facilities for future education in one institute , also the field selection will be easy as students need not  have to give competitive exams like JEE for computer science engineering from best places , as every branch will have it's own entrance with it's own set of subjects much needed for it . Like computer science engineering will have computer science as it's main subject , other subjects may be Physics or maths or chem or anything else as per requirement . So a student should have good knowledge of the main subject . 

 5) Summary - This is a ideal institute which will ensure all round development of child(in my opinion) . The new education policy have some points in similarity. But the key points are 

i) it enhances the importance of practical knowledge in education 

ii) it bring all students from various background to a same platform through hostels .

iii)it gives students the knowledge to deal with various situations of life

iv) it focuses on other parts of education different from academics
